
Ingredients
- 2 c. grated pecans
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 T. orange juice
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 T. grated orange rind
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 3/4 c. sour cream
Instructions
Step 1
With steel blade in Cuisinart, grate pecans until fine.
Step 2
Beat egg yolks until light; then beat in sugar.
Step 3
Stir in flour, salt, baking powder, pecans and orange juice.
Step 4
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
Step 5
Pour into 2 8" cake pans, lined with waxed paper sprayed lightly with Pam.
