Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. bourbon or rum
  • sugar
  • eggs
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. cider
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • molasses or honey

Instructions

Step 1
Mix 5 or 6 ingredients.
Step 2
Pour 1/2 C. bourbon or rum over mix. Let stand 2-3 hrs. stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Cream butter until smooth. Add 3/4 sugar, beating well. Add eggs & mix well. Add 1 1/2 C. flour, 1/2 C. cider alternately, beating well after each addition.
Step 4
Fold 1/2 C. flour into fruit mixture. Mix well.
Step 5
Put into 3 loaf pans. Filled 3/4 full.
Step 6
Grease, oil & line with alum, foil 3 loaf pans.
Step 7
Bake @ 275 or until a toothpick comes out clean.
