Souffle Glace With Grand Marnier

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 1 T. gelatine (envelope)
  • 1 C. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 t. cream of tartar
  • pinch salt

Instructions

Step 1
Soak gelatine in 1/4 c. water 5 min, then heat until it is dissolved.
Step 2
Heat the sugar with 1/4 c. water until it is dissolved.
Step 3
Beat the 5 egg yolks and pour the sugar syrup on them in a thin stream, beating constantly.
Step 4
Beat the gelatine mixture into the yolks.
