
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 t. salt
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 1/4 t. dry mustard
- 1/2 Lb. grated cheddar cheese (2c. packed)
- 4 eggs separated
Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir until blended.
Step 2
Add milk, stirring until thickened. Add seasonings.
Step 3
Remove saucepan from heat and let cool 2-3 min.
Step 4
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Step 5
Beat in egg yolks one at a time. Let the mixture cool.
