
Ingredients
- 1 t. olive oil
- 1 lg. onion
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 sm. can tomato paste
- 1 T. oil (peanut)
- 1 lb. sirloin or beef stew meat cut in cubes
- 1/2 C. flour
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 t. dry thyme
- 1 c. red wine
- 3 c. chicken or beef stock
- to taste salt & pepper
Instructions
Step 1
In heavy bottomed sauce pan heat oil & onion.
Step 2
Heat until onions are soft.
Step 3
Add garlic & cook another minute.
Step 4
Add tomato paste & stir to combine.
