
Ingredients
- 2 T. butter
- 3 T flour
- 1 C. hot chicken broth
- 1/3 C. heavy cream
- to taste Salt
- to taste Sherry
Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in heavy sauce pan.
Step 2
Stir in flour over moderate heat until smooth.
Step 3
Cook 2 min., stirring constantly.
Step 4
Add chicken broth continuing to stir until sauce thickens.
Step 5
Bring to boil.
Step 6
Lower heat. Cook 2 min. more.
Step 7
Pour in cream, add salt & sherry & heat thoroughly.
