
Ingredients
- 2 6-ounce salmon steaks
- Oil for brushing
- 1 1 lime
- Dill and freshly grated black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, softened
- 1 Juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 or 2 dashes cayenne
Instructions
Step 1
Rub each salmon steak lightly with oil.
Step 2
Sprinkle half the lime's juice on steaks, reserving the other half for garnish.
Step 3
Sprinkle both side of steaks lightly with dill and freshly grated black pepper.
Step 4
Grill or broil steaks for about 4 minutes on each side.
Step 5
To make dill lime spread, mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
Step 6
Transfer salmon to heated plates and top with a slice of dill lime spread. (Refrigerate unused spread for another use.)
Step 7
Garnish with lime slices.
