Oyster Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. oysters
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2 slices stale bread
  • 1/4 t. nutmeg
  • 1/2 C. heavy cream
  • 3 T. flour
  • 2 T. butter

Instructions

Step 1
Heat oysters in own liquid. Do not boil.
Step 2
Drain, cool, and grind.
Step 3
Grind celery.
