Onion Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 T. oleo
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1 t. salt
  • pepper or nutmeg to taste
  • 1 One unbaked 8" pie shell

Instructions

Step 1
Cook the onions in the butter until tender.
Step 2
Put in pie shell.
Step 3
Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the onions.
Step 4
Bake at 425º until firm (20-25 min.).
